A collection of his vedute has been published.〔(Il Grand Tour nelle vedute italiane di Salomon Corrodi, pittore svizzero, 1810-1892 ).〕 He trained with Johann Jakob Wetzel, and came to Rome in 1832, along with the fellow pupil Jakob Suter (1805–1874).
